Call for Youth: Apply for the 5th International EYC Educo Camp

As of today, the public call for applications is officially open for participants of the 5th edition of the International EYC Educo Camp, which will bring together 35 young people from Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Serbia, from August 12-14 in Mojkovac, Montengro (Hotel & Resort Gacka). The event is intended for young people aged 18 to 25 who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills through a series of workshops, panel discussions, debate, outdoor activities, and lectures by distinguished professionals, while spending two days socializing and connecting with their peers.

What can participants expect at the camp?

On the first day, a panel discussion entitled “On the Road to Europe: The Role of Youth in Decision-Making” will be held, featuring representatives from the Ministry of Sports and Youth, regional and international organizations, as well as youth activists. Over the course of two days, through a rich and interactive program, young participants will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop practical skills in areas such as soft skills, financial literacy, teamwork, mental health, educational mobility, gender equality, media literacy, and youth participation in decision-making. There will also be outdoor activities such as an Escape Room, scout challenges, sports and social games, and evening gatherings. The camp will conclude with a ceremonial certificate award.

Who can apply?

The call is open to young people aged 18–25 who:

– come from the Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia);

– are able to communicate in English (working language of the camp); understanding and speaking Montenegrin would be considered a plus;

– are motivated to develop skills, gain knowledge, build connections, and actively participate in their communities and decision-making processes;

– come from diverse social and geographic backgrounds (young people from rural, marginalized, and underrepresented communities are especially encouraged to apply).

The online application form for participants is available at the link, while the agenda can be found here.

Applications can be submitted until Sunday, July 27th at 11.59 PM.
All logistical costs of the event (transportation, meals, and accommodation) will be covered by the organizers, and more detailed information is provided within the online application form.
