EmpowerArt Action, is designed for the youth from the Western Balkans. This project seeks to use art as a voice for change, it emphasizes the importance of providing space for youth to express their views and propose innovative solutions to their challenges related to youth unemployment and its implications.

This project aims to create a platform of art for expressing the youth’s ideas and developing innovative solutions to their challenges by embracing the goal “by youth, for youth” and contributing to a more inclusive and just society.

🤔Who Can Apply?

Are you a passionate youngster aged 18-30 from the Western Balkans? Do you want to raise your voice about youth challenges and harness the power of art to make an impact? If so, we invite you to apply!

🖇️Main Thematic Points

We’re focusing on key issues that affect youth today, including:

Youth Unemployment / NEETs (Not in Employment, Education, or Training)
University vs. Vocational Education and Training (VET)
Brain Drain and Migration
Labor Market Mismatch
EU Youth Guarantee and Financial Support Schemes

These themes are just a starting point—feel free to explore your own creative ideas that relate to these important topics!

🖌️Which genre is the focus?

The artworks can be digital or hand drawn (such as caricatures, cartoons, doodles, abstract). We suggest you let your creativity and knowledge do the work.

🏆What’s in It for You?

Not only will you have a platform to express your voice, but you could also win a prize! We’re offering five awards, including one determined by public votes, with prizes ranging from 50 to 100 euros.
